National Education Foundation

Established in 1994, the National Education Foundation has provided educational support to many disadvantaged communities of the country. Its low-cost high-quality educational innovations have reached thousands of children who have had no educational opportunities. NEF’s programs and interventions have promoted and addressed critical educational development issues including: gender equality, improvement in literacy standards, community participation and empowerment etc. NEF has worked jointly with many NGOs and CBOs at the grassroots building their capacity to respond to education and development challenges of their areas.
